🎃 2026 Scarecrow Contest
We invite youth-affiliated nonprofits and organizations to participate in our 2026 Scarecrow Contest!
Create a scarecrow to be displayed at our U-Pick Pumpkin Patch throughout the fall season. Be as creative as you’d like, and be sure to include signage representing your organization.
🏆 How It Works
Create your scarecrow and make it as fun and creative as you’d like!
Bring your completed scarecrow to the farm during business hours September 26–October 3.
All scarecrows will be displayed at the farm through October 31.
Voting will take place on Facebook and Instagram from October 3–October 10.
The winner will be determined based on the total number of likes, shares, and comments received.
🥇 The winning organization will receive mini pumpkins for their organization (up to a maximum of 35 mini pumpkins).
🍂 Important Information
Scarecrows will remain outdoors from the time they are delivered through October 31. Please keep this in mind when choosing materials, as entries will be exposed to wind, rain, sun, and other weather conditions.
All entries must be family-friendly and appropriate for guests of all ages. Bishop & Company Farm reserves the right to refuse or remove any entry that we determine to be inappropriate.
Bishop & Company Farm is not responsible for any injury, damage, theft, or loss of items related to participation in the 2026 Scarecrow Contest.

About Us:
Hi, we’re Joe and Alanna Bishop, the farmers behind Bishop & Company Farm. We are a husband and wife farm team that decided everyone needs to experience life on the farm.
Joe is a lifelong farmer (truly — he’s been in the field since he could walk!), and Alanna is an educator. Together, we’re opening our farm to build community and share some of our home grown joy.
We grow vibrant flowers, summer squash, delicious melons, and heirloom pumpkins. This marks our first you-pick farm year! What started as Alanna’s simple idea quickly grew into a passion project for both Joe and Alanna. We’d love nothing more than for you to come out to the farm Wednesdays 6:00pm -8:00pm and Saturdays 9am-1pm June 27-October 31, 2026.
